PETA My love for photography began in my teenage years, since the dawn of the "Digital Era" I have had several 'Point and Shoots' and eventually moved up to a DSLR. I have studied photography, thoroughly enjoy Nature photography, especially Macro and have recently begun to enjoy photographing people. I enjoy the feedback available from PHOTOGRAPHIC PLATFORM and find that I am constantly learning and developing as a photographer through the interaction and themed challenges.

YVONNE I started taking a serious
interest in photography a couple of years ago and have come to realize my
passion for it. While starting with the
usual flowers/birds/insects I have broadened my photography to include more
abstract and minimalistic photography. Artistically I am still looking for my niche. I have been privileged to photograph the
wedding of a friend and hope to forge a career which encompasses small intimate
wedding photography and photography of children in natural settings. I find PHOTOGRAPHIC PLATFORM gives me
tremendous assistance with everything from composition to light to subject and
the feedback is invaluable. If you want
to move ahead with photography then the key is not only plenty of practice but
also getting your work out there so that you can gain feedback!

TED My photographic background goes back to 1975 when I received my 1st camera. I bought a point and shoot in 2002 and my passion started. In 2008 got my 1st DSLR Canon 400D since then a 500D and 1000D and a collection of lens's. My father is a retired wildlife biologist and I'm a fanatic gardener so I have a knowledge and passion for flora and fauna. I’m totally self-taught thru trial and error. A look at my blog will show that my images have a wide range of subjects with Flora, Fauna and Landscapes being my favourite.

PAUL I have been shooting for a few years, as a newlywed, my wife, Linda, a film photographer, lent me one of her camera’s and , as they say the rest is history.

MICK My ever growing passion for photography began in 2005 whilst searching for greetings cards with local scenes to send to friends and family overseas, when I found that there was little to choose from I decided to go out to take my own. I started taking shots of local landscapes through the seasons putting together a calendar so others could send to ex pats all over the globe giving them fond memories of home. All this has lead to me exploring other aspects to add to my portfolio such as covering events, product photography and pet portraits. I’m always looking to enhance my skills in both camera and post production software through advice in magazines books and likeminded people.

DAVID Inspired by a photo in a hill walking magazine I asked my wife Pamela for a DSLR for my 40th birthday which she thankfully got for me, these days I never leave home without it. As a relative newcomer to photography I am very much still in the learning process, but gaining a little more experience each week by trial & error, reading photography books and learning from others on the platform. Although landscapes, sunsets and water shots are my favourite subjects I enjoy the weekly themed challenges that the PHOTOGRAPHIC PLATFORM sets.
